Why this site exists

Ask whether Vanuatu allows dual citizenship and every result says yes, because it does and because yes is the answer that sells. The question that can cost you something is the other one, and it is asked far less often: does the country you already belong to allow you to acquire another nationality while keeping its own?

For most readers the answer is yes and nothing follows. For a minority it is no, the loss is automatic and irreversible, and nobody in the transaction has any incentive to raise it. That asymmetry is the reason this site is organised the way it is.

What we try to get right

Three things are stated here more carefully than the niche usually bothers with. First, that nationality and tax residence are separate, so a second passport does not move what you owe — with the United States running the opposite rule and taxing its citizens wherever they live. Second, that financial account information is exchanged automatically and a second nationality changes which authority receives a report rather than whether one is made. Third, that travel access is eighty-eight destinations and has excluded Europe and Britain since 2023, whatever older pages still claim.

Where the figures come from

The programme's own fee structure. One hundred and thirty thousand US dollars for a single applicant, rising in set steps for a spouse and each child, twenty-five thousand for every further dependant, and five thousand payable before any background check begins and refunded in no circumstance. Regulation fixes these, so they are identical whoever files — which makes a quote that differs on them a useful warning rather than a better offer.

What we do not claim

That an application will be approved; the Citizenship Commission alone decides. That it will complete by a given date; no service standard is published. That we can advise on your existing country's nationality law; we cannot, and say so on every page where it matters. And no official character of any kind — authorities are named here to explain their role.
